Celebrity Photo Retouch

1)As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?

My main objective was to fix up my celebrities flaws but make him look as natural as possible.

2)What tools did we primarily use for this project?

We used the spot healing brush, brush tool, and burn/dodge tool.

3)What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some challenges I faced were his wrinkles, fixing up some wrinkles in his tattoo, and his eyes.

4)Do you feel that there should be a warning placed on retouched images that are used for advertising? Why or why not?

No I do not think there should be a warning, by now most people should know that these photos are retouched. No one’s face is perfect. Especially in advertisement people are made to look perfect to the people reading the advertisement and that’s why we use Photoshop.
